a bank robbery?!
the other day I went to the bank to deposit some money which will soon be spent, just in another currency...anyways, I walked up to the door and the alarm, which had "burglary alarm!" on it, started going off. so i was pretty much petrified, picturing in my head scenes out of movies with massive guns, masks and people sprawled on the floor. so I walk around to the front of the bank and theres none of the above...everyone is going about their business normally. I walk in and it turns out the ADT guy is checking that the alarms work. sweet. I thought that there might actually be something exciting happening here, but, alas, there was not. But now that I'm thinking about it more, having a boat as a get-away vehicle would be a pretty good idea.Thats enough of that.Today I received my day-pack in the mail, and I spent hours- no joke- in Barnes and Noble (my favorite store, by far) and purchased a couple of books ready for my travels! so now i'm almost completely ready to go! I just have to finish packing and do a couple of other things, and thats it! I'm gone!Tomorrow is my last full weekday in the USA! haha, there are lots of different countdowns all leading to the same day! Monday!
the countdown begins...
well, thats a lie, because the countdown began a long time ago, buttttt now there's only 1 week left!! this means that I am running around like a headless chicken for several reasons...the main one being that I have no idea what to pack for this massive endeavor to BOTH hemispheres, 10 countries, and several different climates over a 4 month period. The next issue is money, duh...how much to take? how much to budget? how much do I have? so I'm taking donations :) sooo previous to this I was in Hawaii w/ Amanda and Shannon, staying with our great host, Eric. We had alot of fun, got great tans, went sailing, hung out with sea turtles- which, for those of you who know my love for Finding Nemo will know that I LOVED that, and of course named one Crush and another Offspring, etc. I saw some cool fish, like the state trigger fish, which has a crazy long name..."Humuhumu Nukunuku Apua’a" -yeah try saying that while drunk.alright well this should be enough to keep Bruni happy :) and I will try and keep this up to date so stay tunedoh, maybe this will help...locations to be visited on Erin and Kirby's World Tour:Greece, Italy, S. France, Spain, S. Africa, England, Amsterdam, Prague, Australia, N. Island of New Zealand and last but not least S. Island of New Zealand- and this is where I will be staying until further notice!
