Gelato w/ the Pope!!
Forgot to mention yesterday that Dave was mad because she isn't English- she didn't get the EU discount at the Colloseum! Haha.
Woke up this morning feeling like crap, caught a cold or something. Also, our room smelled rancid, turns out it was leaking something disgusting all over the floor...I couldn't smell it ha but the other 7 people were almost throwing up! Gross, everyone packed their stuff and took off ASAP. Dave and I walked over to another hostel we had found the day before, booked beds, dumped our stuff and took the train to the Vatican City. It was amazingly beautiful...I don't really do religion as you all should know, but this was pretty cool. Do you think the Pope ever lays out/tans in his gardens? Haha.
Also went to the Sistine Chapel-our student card finally saved us some money, hooray! The chapel was beautiful, but I probably would have appreciated it more if I had an Art History degree or something like that, but it was great.
We left there and walked accross the river saw the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and a bunch of other things along the way.
We've walked pretty much the whole city and its time to get out...tomorrow we're heading to Florence.

FLORENCE IS MY FAVORITE CITY!!!!!! I am sooo jealous. That is where I met my Italian guy, hahah....alexander. Just so you know, there is a laundry place right next to the train station (less than two blocks away). Also, there is a restaurant that plays live music on the water, fuck i wish i remembered what it was called. If you walk alongside arno, it's about three blocks away from all famous old bridge. Have fun there. I miss you guys!!!
