On the move..
Last night our 8 room mates couldn't have been much louder, I dunno why they couldn't go into the common room and be loud there...the hostel pretty much sucked in general, only 1 of the 3 showers worked, the stove didn't work, there was water leaking all over the place. So we were pretty happy to get out of there...
We're on the train to Florence, its pretty dull outside today but the countryside is pretty. Its relaxing to be sitting doing nothing, I finished "My Friend Leonard" by James Frey- its a sequel-kind of- to "A Million Little Pieces" which I read last week and I highly recomend (why can't I spell that?!) so you should read them both! They're pretty quick, easy, page turners and you'll laugh and cry...what more can you ask for?!
So now I'm finally going to start "East of Eden" by Steinbeck...hopefully that will take a while because I don't have anymore to read after that!! And book stores are dangerous, I can spend hours in them.
Its hard to believe we've only been gone 10 days, it feels like at least a month! Does The Vatican City count as another country on our list since its its own state??

Sounds like you're having an awesome time, despite the crappy showers and noisy roommates!(I can sympathise...the hostels in Oz were often very touch and go!) You can definately count the vatican as a separate country...i would. Happy Travelling!!
