Day 1
Sooooooo Friday I went to work for a couple of hours, then home to finish packing and chill w/ RooRoo before we left for the trip..We hit the road around 1 with a few things to do along the way.
Arrived at Fort Myers airport, checked in, grabbed some lunch and waited for out flight. We took off without any issues but once we got to Midway there were storms and they diverted us to Indianapolis.. Booooooo. We flew Southwest, they rock!! Literally, the cabin crew were awesome. Were sitting in the back row, this dude got up to go to the bathroom when he wasn't allowed to, he kinda just told the lady he was going anyway; when he came out she just looked at himm and said "so do you think you could flush the toilet or what?!" I laughed.. He hadn't flushed and she knew it, he was mortified. Sooo funny. Anyways, we sat on the ground in Indy for like half hour or something, refueled and flew back out to Midway. This time we landed and while we should have missed our connection, we didn't bc Midway was a mess. Sooo we sat on the floor and waited for the flight... Finally arrived in Denver at midnight, 2 1/2 hours later than expected.. Called the hotel and took the shuttle over there.. And here we are!!
Now we have to wait to hear from the RV company- they're going to let us know when an RV comes in for us. Its supposed to be at noon but I guess maybe not... Who knows.
